Answer:As per the question, the capacitors are connected in series.

It is given that  c1=6 and c2=12

The supply voltage v = 180 volts.

The net capacitance of the circuit is calculated as -

1/c=1/c1+1/c2

which gives us 4×10⁻⁶

The charge flowing across the circuit is calculated as -

                                 q=cv

=4×10⁻⁶×180 volts=72×10⁻⁵

We know that charge remains the same during series connection of capacitors.

Hence, the charge on each capacitor is 72×10⁻⁵
