Two capacitors of capacitances C1 and C2 are connected in parallel. If a charge q is given to the assembly, the charge gets shared. The ratio of the charge on capacitor C1 to the charge that on C2 is
C1/C2
C2/C1
C1C2
1/C1C2

Answer:

Hey Buddy here's ur answer

C1/C2

Explanation:

Q=C*V so with total charge Q the Voltage of the parallel combination is V=Q,/(C1+C2).

The charge on the individual capacitors is Q1=C1*V=Q*C1/(C1+C2) and

Q2=C2*V=Q*C2/(C1+C2).

Q1/Q2=C1/C2

So the charge divides up in proportion to the fraction of capacitances.
