ram can do job in 5 days therefore in 1 day he can do 1/5 th job

let shyam do job in. x days therefore in one day shyam does 1/x job

ram and shyam do job on 3 days therefore in 1 day they can do 1/3 rd job combined together

1/5 + 1 / x = 1/3

(x + 5) / 5 * x = 1/3

3(x + 5) = 5x

3x + 15 = 5x

15 = 2x

x = 7.5days
