Two car move with a speed of 40km/h for 15 minutes and then with a speed of 60km/hr for next minutes. find the total distance covered by the car in these 30 minutes

15 minutes=1/4hours.

the distance covered in first 15 minutes =velocity x time=40x1/4=10km.

distance covered in next 15 min.
=60x1/4=15km.

so total distance =10+15=25km.
