Two carbon compounds X and Y have the molecular formula C2H4 and C2H6 respectively. Which one of the two is most likely to show substitution reaction? Justify your answer. Also give the chemical equation.

C2H6 will undergo substitution reation

C2H6 +Cl2 = C2H5 + HCl (in the presence of sunlight)
