Since the two cars are moving in the same direction.

Velocity of car B with respect to car A = v_{b} - v_{a}

                                                               = (40 - 24) km/h

                                                               = 16 km/h

Answer: Since the two cars are moving in the same direction.

Velocity of car B with respect to car A =  vb - va

                                                              = (40 - 24) km/h

                                                              = 16 km/h
