Two cars A and B are moving on the straight parallel
paths with speeds 36 kmh and 72 kmh , respectively,
starting from the same point in the same direction. After
20 min, how much behind is car A from car B?

A=36kmph=10m/s

B=72kmph=20m/s

Time=20mins

So by AVG velocity,

A=[(10+0)×20×60]/2=6000m or 6km

B=[(20+0)×20×60]/2=12000m or 12km

So,

Distance of B - Distance of A=

12km-6km= 6km(Ans)
