Explanation:

Let t hrs. be the time taken by the car B to reach the crossing point

Hence, A will take (t+1) hrs. to reach the same point

Speed of car B=50 km/hr

Distance covered before the crossing =50 × t

Now using the strategy (4), we know that the total distance covered by the two cars is the total distance between their starting points.

i.e. 40(t+1)+50t=400

⇒ 40t+50t+40=400

⇒ 90t=360

⇒ t=4 hrs

Hence, the distance covered by car B=50 × 4=200 km.

Hope it's help you

Answer:

speed of car A=40km/hr

speed of car B= 60km/hr

Time of car A=2×3600=7200

Time of car B=3×3600=10800

speed= distance/time

speed of car A=40/7200

=0.0055

speed of car B=60/10800

=0.0055

Both car is moving in the same speed.

Hope it helps u.
