To over take the car B, the back most point of car A must travel till the front most point of car B. i.e. 10m=0.01km.

Vrel=54−36=18km/hr

Time taken to travel 0.01km,

t= 0.01 /18hr

Now, total distance traveled by A is

( 0.01/18 ×54×1000)=30m
