Two Cars, A and B (starting, at the same time, from the same point) are moving
with average speeds of 40 km/h and 50 km/h, respectively, in the same direction.

Answer:

Relative velocity = 50km/h -40 km/h ( due to same direction )

=10km/h

Distance = Speed ×time

= 10km/h × 3

=30km

Car B will be 30 km far away from Car A

Answer:

Answer is 30

Explanation:

Speed of A car = 40 km / h

Speed of B car = 50 km / h

Distance = Speed × Time

Distance covered by A car = 40 × 3 hrs

=. 120 kms

Distance covered by B car = 50 × 3 hrs

= 150 kms

Difference between Car B and Car A

150 kms - 120 kms = 30 kms

Thus, Car B is 30 km ahead / far than Car A.
