The speed of first car= 50 km/hr

Speed of second car = 40 km/hr

As they are moving towards each other, their relative velocity will be the sum of the velocities of the two bodies.

So relative velocity = 50+40 = 90 km/hr.

Now a/q:- distance (d) = 15 km

Speed (s) = 90 km/hr

As we know s=d/t

So t=d/s

Hence t = 15/90 = 1/6 hr = 10 mins = 600 seconds
