V should be in meters per second.
Car A :
V = 36 × 5/18 = 10m/s
KE = 0.5 × 10² × 400 = 20000joules
Car B:
V= 54 × 5/18 = 15m/s
KE = 0.5 × 15² × 600 = 67500 joules
The ratio of A to B is
8 : 27
