Let the car over takes the first car at n hours
20n= 16+17+18+19...…. n terms
20n = [(16 x 2)+(n-1)x 1]
40n= n[32 +n-1]
40 = 32-1+n
40-32 =n
n = 9
Hence the second car overtakes the first car in 9 sec.
