Given Info : Two cells having self inductance L₁ is 75mH and L₂ is 55 mH are coupled with each other and the coefficient of coupling is 0.75.

solution : using formula, M = k√(L₁L₂)

here k = 0.75 , L₁ = 75 mH = 75 × 10¯³ H and L₂ = 55 × 10¯³ H.

now, M = 0.75√(75 × 10¯³ × 55 × 10¯³)

= 0.75 × 64.23 × 10¯³ H

= 48.17 × 10¯³ H

= 0.04817 H

Therefore the mutual inductance would be 0.04817 H
