Latitude of a place is the measure of how far north or south it is from the equator.
Longitude of a place is the measure of how far east or west it is from a line on the earth
that's accepted as the starting line.
Since these measurements are on the curved surface of a sphere, they're measured in angles.
Every latitude is between zero and 90 degrees, along with 'north' or 'south' to tell which direction
it's measured from the equator. Every longitude is between zero and 180 degrees, along with
'east' or 'west' to tell which direction it's measured from the starting line.

The 2 characteristics of latitude are-
* Lines of latitude runs east to west, but provide north south locational reference.
* They are also called parallels of latitude as each line of latitude is parallel to all other latitudes.
