Concept used

Electric field at point is inversely proportional to square of distance from source charge.

Answer

E₁ = Electric field due to q₁ at origin.

E₂ =  Electric field due to q₂ at origin.

  • E₁ = E₂

\to\sf{\displaystyle\frac{Q_{1}}{4 \pi \varepsilon_{0} x_{1}\:^{2}}=\frac{Q_{2}}{4 \pi \varepsilon_{0} x_{2}\:^{2}}}

⇒ Q₁/Q₂ = x₁²/x₂²
