Let the length of the aluminium pipe be l
So, time taken by sound wave in aluminium = l/6420
time taken by sound wave in air= l/346.
So ratio of the time taken by the sound wave in air and aluminium= l/6420/l/346
=l/6420Ă—346/l
=346/6420 =346:6420

u can further convert it to its simplest form.
