two chords AB and CD of length 5 cm and 11 cm respectively of a circle are parallel to each other and are on the same side of the centre.If the distance between AB andCD is 3 cm, find the radius of the circle.

I have another pic with solution but I can upload only 1 pic for this question. u can make the equation r sqare =x sqare + (2.5) sqare this is first equation and r sqare = (3-x) sqare + (5.5) sqare. then take it parallel nd solve u will find the value of x is 5.5 then put it in into equation 1.
