of a circle are paralled and are on the same
side of the the centre. If the distance between them
is 1cm then find the radius of the circle​

Let y= ⊥distance from centre to longer chord .

r=radius

r²=4²+y²

3²+(1+y)²=r²

16+y²=9+1+2y+y²

6=2y

y=3

r²=4²+3²

r=5 cm
