Given :-

  • Two circles of radii 6.5 cm and 4.8 cm touch each other externally.

To Find :-

  • The distance between the centres.

Solution :-

We know that, concentric circle means two or more than two circles with a common center point .

Let ,\: R \: and \: r \: are \: the \: radii \: of \: the \: circle.

Where,

  • Bigger radius, R = 6.5 cm

  • Smaller radius, r = 4.8 cm

The \: distance \: between \: the \: centres. = R - r

➝ 6.5 - 4.8

1.7 cm
