two circles of radii 9.7 cm and 3.2 cm touch each other .find the distance between their centers.​

Hi ,

Let R and r are radii of two circles.

R = 5.5 cm , r = 4.2 cm

If two circles touch externally then,

the distance between two centres

D = R + r

D = 5.5 cm + 4.2 cm

D = 9.7 cm
