Two circles touches externally at a point P and from a point T on the common tangent at P, tangent segment TQ and TR are drawn to the two circles. Prove that TQ=TR​

Step-by-step explanation:

TR, TP are two tangents drawn to bigger circle from an external point T.

we know that,

length of tangents drawn from external point to circle are equal

∴TR=TP ___(i)

Similarly TP, TQ are two tangent drawn to smaller circle from an external point T.

Again we have TP=TQ __(ii)

From (i) & (ii), we have TQ=TR
