Two circular coils A and B are placed close to each other. If the current in the coil A is changed, will some current be induced in the coil B? Give reason.​

Two circular coils A and B are placed close to each other and If the current in the coil A is changed, then yes there will be some current induced in the coil B.

This is so because of the magnetic field lines. If the current in the coil A changes, the magnetic field of the coil B will be induced due to magnetic field lines which is linked with the coil B given.

Since the changes occur in the number of magnetic field lines, hence results in the induced current in the coil B.

Magnetic field lines is an fictional curve through which a free unit north pole tends to move. These magnetic field lines always begins with north pole and end on south pole. The tangential curve to the magnetic field lines at some point display the direction of magnetic field at that point.

Yes, when a current in coil A changes, magnetic field lines linked with coil B also changes.

Hence, due to change in number of magnetic field lines, there is an induced current in coil B.
