Two coil have a mutual inductance 0.005 H. The
current changes in first coil according to equation
I = I sin ot, where I = 2A and o = 100pi rad/sec.
The maximum value of induced emf in second coil
is :-
(1) 4pi V (2) 3pi V (3) 2pi V (4) pi V

The maximum value of induced emf in second coil will be "Pi".

Explanation:

When current passes through a coil a magnetic field is produced. When another coil is brought in the magnetic field of first coil an emf is induced in that coil due to mutual induction phenomenon.

We know that

emax = MIo

by putting M = 0.005H , I = 2A and 0 = 100pi

we get:

emax = π  Volts
