After observing the following diagram, we can give the following reasons for this observation.
Explanation:
- When key K is closed, the galvanometer shows a momentary deflection.
- Meanwhile, when the Key K is opened, the same momentary deflection is shown by the galvanometer but in the opposite direction.
- A galvanometer is an electro mechanic device which is used for indicating and detecting an electrical current. It works as an actuator which produces a rotary deflection by reacting to the electric current that flows through the coil on a constant magnetic field.
