i)58÷200=0.29
ii)83÷200=0.415
iii)59÷200=0.295
hope it is helpful

Lustox: is there any relationship between the first and second sentence in the question? The first sentence says two coins tossed simultaneously 200 times while the second sentence and says two coins tossed randomly. The second sentence didn't also mention how many times the coins were tossed randomly. This is where my confusion is....

Lustox: so will the answer 2 question I) - likelihood of getting 2 heads while tossed randomly be 58 or 58/200 or simply 1/4? your help in clarifying this will be much appreciated.

probability of getting 1 head =83/200

=0.415

probability of getting 0heads=59/200

=0.295

no. of two heads =83+59=142

=200-142

=58

probability of getting 2heads =58/200

=0.29
