Let S be the sample space

:. S={TT,TH,HT,HH}

:.n(S)=4

Let (i) be event A

:. A={TT,TH,HT}

:.n(A)=3

we know,

p(A)=n(A)/n(S)

= 3/4

AND

Let (ii) be event B

:.B={HH}

:.n(B)=1

we know

p(B)=n(B)/n(S)

=1/4
