Let x and y be two angles.
We know that their sum is 90 bcoz they are complementary angles.
So...
x + y = 90. .......(i).
Also... It is given that their difference is 30.
So.....
x - y = 30. .......(ii).
Adding both equations .....
x + y = 90
x - y = 30
----------------
2x = 120.
Hence x = 60 deg.
Other angle = 90- 60 = 30 deg.
Hence the larger angle is of 60 deg.
