Let the angles be 3x and 2x.

So,

3x+2x=90°

5x=90°

x =  \frac{90}{5}

x=18°

Therefore, the angle are

54° ,36°

Hence, this is the answer.

⛦ Given :

  • Two complementary angles are in ratio 3 : 2

⛦ To find :

  • The measure of each angle.

⛦ Solution :

As it is given that the two complementary angles are in the ratio 3 : 2.

So, Let us assume the first angle be 3x

And the second be 2x

Now, We know that :

★Sum of complimentary angle = 90°

A/Q

↦ 3x + 2x = 90°

↦ 5x = 90°

↦ x = 90/5

↦ x = 18

________

So, the value of first angle is :

•3x = 3 × 18 = 54°

•2x = 2 × 18 = 36°

-------------------------

Let's verify our answer!

As we know that,

Sum of complementary angles = 90°

So, Putting the value:

↬54° + 36° = 90°

↬90° = 90°

Thus, our angles are correct.
