we know that sum of complementary angles is 90
so let 4 and 11 be 4x and 11x
4x+11x=90
15x=90x=90/15
x=6

so
4x=4*x
4*6=24

11x=11*x
11*6
66

hence two angles are 24 and 66

Concept

Complementary angles are the angles whose sum is 90

For example 30 and 60 are complementary angles

45 and 45 are also complementary angles.

Given

Two complementary angles are in ratio 4 : 11

Find

Values of each angle

Solution

Angles are In ratio 4 : 11

Let one angle be 4x and other be 11x

Sum of angles = 90

4x + 11x= 90

15x = 90

x = 6

So the value of angles are

4 * 6 = 24

4 * 11 = 66

The complementary angles are 24 and 66 which are also in ratio 4 : 11
