Complementary angles are those angles whose sum equals 90°.

Their given ratio = 4:5

Let one of them be 4x and the other one be 5x.

As they are complementary angles
then,
4x +5x = 90°
9x =90°
x = 10°.

As x = 10°
Therefore,
4x = 4×10 = 40°
and
5x = 5×10 = 50°.

Hence, those two angles are 40° and 50°

Hey!

_______________

Let angle be x

Angles are in ratio - 4:5
Angle 1 = 4x
Angle 2 = 5x

Complementary angles sum up to 90°, so,

4x+5x= 90
9x = 90
x= 90/9
x= 10

Thus, one angle = 4×10=40°
And second angle = 5×10 = 50°

50+40=90°
