Two complementary angles are (x + 3)° and (x + 9)°. What are the measures of the angles?

Sum of complementary angles is 90 degrees
So, x+3 + x+9 = 90
=> 2x + 12 = 90
=> x = 39
So x+3 = 42 degrees and x+9 = 48 degrees
