sum of complementary angles is 90 degrees
x+4+2x-7=90
3x-3=90
3x=93
x=31.

bandhan123: It is correct though I am giving you the modified version of this equation
bandhan123: (x+4)+(2x-7)=90
bandhan123: Then the steps will as mentioned in your ans.
bandhan123: There was an answer problem so i was not able to give you the brinliest
rohithreddy2001: what is the problem in the answer?
bandhan123: I was so much sorry i accidentaly saw 16 instead of 32
bandhan123: 31
rohithreddy2001: ok
bandhan123: so its ok,or not
rohithreddy2001: it,s ok

Answer :

Complementary angles : If the sum of two acute angles be 90°, the two angles be Complementary angles.

Solution :

The two complementary angles are (x + 4) and (2x - 7).

Then,

(x + 4) + (2x - 7) = 90

⇒ x + 4 + 2x - 7 = 90

⇒ x + 2x + 4 - 7 = 90

⇒ (1 + 2)x - 3 = 90

⇒ 3x - 3 = 90

⇒ x - 1 = 30,
dividing both sides by 3

⇒ x = 30 + 1

⇒ x = 31

∴ the value of x is 31.
