If two angles are complementary, the sum of their measures is 90degrees. This means that its complement is 90 - x degrees. But thedifference in their measures is 12 degrees. ... the difference in thetwo angles is 51 - 39 = 12 degrees, just as the problem specified

Answer:

complementary angle

the sum of two angles is 90°

let the smaller angle be x°

bigger angle be x+12°

x+x+12=90°

2x=90-12

2x =78°

x = 78/2 = 39°

smaller angle =x = 39°

bigger angle x+12=39+12=51°..

hope this helped you......
