Correct Question

Two complementary angles differ by 20. Find the measure of each angle .

\bold{\red{Solution}}

\bold{\green{We\ know\ that }}

Sum of measures of two complementary angles= 90

⟹x+y=90⁣           (i)

But we are given x−y=20⁣           (ii)

2x=110 \bold{\red{[On\ comparing\ (i)\ and\ (ii)]}}

⟹x=55

Now, x+y=90

⟹y=90−x

⟹y=90−55=35

hope it helps ☺️
