Let the two angles be x and y.

According to the question,

x-y=20
x+y=90
----------
2x= 110
x=55°

Substituting the value of x to find the value of y

x-y=20
55-y=20
-y=20-55
-y=-35
y=35°

The two angles are 55° and 35°

let the two angles be "x" and "x+20".

we know that sum of two complimentary angles is 90.

=>x+(x+20)=90
=>2x+20=90
=>2(x+10)=90
=>x+10=45
=>x=35

thus , the two angles are "35" and "55.
