Sum of complementary angles is always equal to 90°

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

  • It is mentioned that the two angles differ by 8° from each other.

Let one of the complementary angle be

So, another angle would be (x-8)°

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Here, we got an equation to compute, i.e -

(x°) + (x-8)° = 90°

x + x - 8 = 90

2x - 8 = 90

2x = 90+8

x = 98÷2

x = 49

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

  • (x)° = 49°
  • (x-8)° = 49-8 = 41°

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The two complementary angles are 49° and 41°

\sf{\bold\blue{Proof -} }

As ,the two angles are complementary, their sum would be 90°

 {49}^{ \circ}  +  {41}^{ \circ}  =  {90}^{ \circ}  \\ {90}^{ \circ}  = {90}^{ \circ}⠀⠀⠀⠀
