Step-by-step explanation:

let x be one angle &

y be the second angle

x+y =90 ........complementary angles

x-y=50........given

__________

2x=140

x=70.

70+y=90

y=90-70

y=20.

since it is a triangle

therefore

70 +20 +x = 180

90 +x=180

x=180-90

therefore

x = 90

Hope it helps u....

complementary angles means the sum of the two angles is 90°
let the two angles be x,y
we know that x+y=90
given that x-y=50
by adding the two equations
x+y+x-y=50+90
2x=140
x=70°
from x+y=90
y=90-x
=90-70
=20°
so,x,y=70°,20°
