Let two complementary angles are 4X and 5X.




As we know that , sum of two complementary angles is always equal to 90°.



So,




4X + 5X = 90




9X = 90



X = 10°.




First angle = 4X = 4 × 10 = 40°



And,



Second angle = 5X = 5 × 10 = 50°.
