Let the first angle be x
Then second angle = x+ 8
B/Q, x+x+8 = 90°
» 2x+8 = 90°
» 2x = 90-8 = 82°
» x = 82/2 = 41°
So, one angle is 41° and other is 41+8 = 49 °

X+Y=90
X-Y = 8.........adding both equations
2x =98
X = 49
Substituting X =49 in ist eqn
49+Y =90
Y=90-49
=41
Therefore the two complementary angles are 49 and 41 degree
