Let o be the centre of the circle

nd OM be perpendicular to AB ie the chord

Now AM = BM (the perpendicular from the center bisects the chord)

∴ AM²=OA² + OM²

         => 25² + 15²

         =>625 +225

      AM   =>√850

       AM  =>29.15 = MB

Now AB=AM + MB

           =58.3cm
