Two concentric spherical conducting shells of radii r and 2r are carrying charges q and 2q respectively. Both are now connected by a conducting wire, find the change in electric potential (in v) on the outer shell.

Answer:the change in electric potential will be zero.

Explanation:Because when we connect them with a wire, charges begins to flow from lower potential to higher potential. But We know that the inner most sphere will always be in higher potential so charges will flow from inner sphere to outer sphere. But in the given case the inner sphere has less amount of charge that outer sphere(q less than 2q) due to which charges will not able to flow. Hence the final potential will remain same as that of initial.
