Let Q = 15 the initial charge on each sphere and q the charge transferred
(Q - q) / R1 = (Q + q) / R2 where R1 = 5 and R2 = 10
also the V1 = V2 after connected by the wire
(Q + q) / (Q - q) = R2 / R1 = 2
Q + q = 2 Q - 2 q
Q = 3 q so q = 5
after the transfer 1 has charge 10 and 2 has charge 20
k 10 / 5 = k 20 / 10 = 2 k
