Two conductors A & B of resistance 5 ohms and 10 ohms respectively can be arranged in
parallel and later on in series. In each arrangement, the total voltage applied is 120V. In which arrangement will the voltage across A and B be the same and in which case will the current flowing through A and B be the same?

Explanation:

series : 5 + 10 = 15 ohms

parallel : 1/5+1/10= 3/10=0.3 ohms

V = IR

120= I X 15

I = 120/15

I = 8 a

v= IR

I = V/R

I= 120/ 0.3

I= 400 A
