We need to find even integers,

let the two consecutive even integers be x and y

Let x = 2q and y = 2q+2 ( asthe integers are even, they will be of this form )

Then taking their sum,we get,

2q+(2q+2)=34

2q+2q+2=34

4q+2=34

4q=34-2

4q=32

q=32/4=8

So x=2q=2*8=16

y=2q+2=2*8+2=16+2=18

So the integers are 16 and 18
