Let the consecutive natural numbers be
X and x+1
So, according to question
1/5 (x+1) - 1/4x = 1
1/5x + 1/5 - 1/4x = 1
1/5x - 1/4x = 1 - 1/5
(4x - 5x)/20 = (5-1)/5
-x/20 = 4/5
-x = 4/5 x 20
-x = 16
X = - 16
So, the numbers are
-16 and
(-16 +1)=-15
