According to the laws of hydrostatics and pressure, the pressure felt at the bottoms of both containers a and b should be the same.
the pressure at the bottom is given by the formula:
p=p×g×h
where, p=pressure
p=density
g=gravity
h=height
the pressure due to a liquid at a height h above the base,is
independent both a and b are filled up to the same height, they will experience equal pressure.
