Place them at (f1+f2) cm from each other so that the rays will converge and diverge at a point which is focus of both lenses.

Two lenses placed in the path of paralell rays as shown in figure. The first lens placed in the direction of parallel lines, which converges at focus. The second lens is arranged so that it is the focus of 2nd, then emerging rays will be parallel.
