Step-by-step explanation:

Cost of 2 cooler= Rs.9000

Cost of 1 cooler=Rs.9000÷2

. =Rs.4500

Case 1

On first one he got 5% Profit.

Selling Price= CP(100+ P%)÷100

. =4500(100+ 5)÷100

. =4500*105÷100

. 4725.

Case 2

On second one he got 3% Loss.

Selling Price= CP(100-L%)÷100

. =4500(100-3)÷100

. =4500*97÷100

. =4365.

Case 3

Total CP= ₹9000

Total SP= Rs.4725+Rs.4365

. = ₹9090

Here, SP>CP

Hence, Profit=SP - CP

. =₹9090-₹9000

. =₹90

Profit %=Profit ÷ CP*100

. =90÷9000*100

. = 1%

Therefore The total profit in the whole transaction is 1%..
