Answer:

Container B

Explanation:

According to me Container B should have a larger volume because it can fill more water and when there is more water, it takes longer to get heated up due to which after 5 minutes its temperature was 14℃

HOPE THIS IS THE ANSWER YOU ARE LOOKING FOR. HAVE A GREAT DAY AHEAD!!

Answer:

The volume of container A is greater than the volume of container B.

Explanation:

Assumption,

Let the volume of container A be V₁.

Let the volume of container B be V₂.

Given,

The temperature of container A (T₁) = 19°C, after heating for 5 minutes.

The temperature of container B (T₂) = 14°C, after heating for 5 minutes.

To find,

Which container has the larger volume?

Calculation,

Let us assume that the pressure exerted by the water in the two containers are same.

So, from Charle's law:

V ∝ T

⇒ V₁T₂ = V₂T₁

⇒ V₁(14 + 273) = V₂(19 + 273)

⇒ V₁(287) = V₂(292)

⇒ V₁ = V₂ (1.017)

⇒ V₁ = 1.017V₂

Hence, the volume of container A is greater than the volume of container B.
